Welcome! If you want to learn how to use the Knowledge Library, this is the right place. The Knowledge Library gives you access to hundreds of valuable FM resources. Read, watch and listen to the latest content covering all topics of FM, produced by industry-leading authors. There are many ways to utilize the Knowledge Library. To get you started quickly, we've listed the top three:
Using the Knowledge Library is easy. Simply click on the Knowledge Library tab in the navigation bar to access the Knowledge Library home page. From here you can see the most recently added, most popular and highest rated content offered in the library.
Also, you can dive deeper into the Knowledge Library by using the sub-navigation menu.
This navigation bar allows you to view all content available in the Knowledge Library, browse by competency or industry, and access the latest news and updates from IFMA staff.
After you've found a piece of content you're interested in, simply click the content thumbnail to see a detailed view of the content piece. This view will show you important information such as author, original publication date, education level, as well as a detailed description of what the piece is about. From here, you can click the Download button to save the content piece to your local drive.
Browsing and reading content is not the only way to interact with the Knowledge Library. If you are an author, or would like to increase your visibility and credibility within your field, the Knowledge Library is always looking for fresh, new content. If you have authored an original work that aligns with IFMA's 11 core competencies, feel free to submit your piece for consideration.
Submitting content is easy. Simply follow the steps below--the entire process should only take about 30 minutes:
Content Experts are invaluable to IFMA and the development of the Knowledge Library. The excellent content reviews, feedback and suggestions they provide throughout the publishing process is truly what sets the Knowledge Library apart from all other FM content sites.
We are looking for professional or associate IFMA members for a minimum of five years, and an expert in one or more of IFMA's 11 core competencies. IFMA credentials are not a requirement, however preference will be granted to members who hold an IFMA credential or are IFMA FIBS, Fellows or instructors.
