Vancouver Valuation Accord
The Vancouver Valuation Accord, adopted on 2 March 2007 is an agreement to address the interrelationship of sustainability and value (see www.vancouveraccord.org). RICS has signed this Accord. It is meant as a response to the evolving importance of sustainability and the need for its implications to be understood in valuations and appraisals. It is a commitment to review sustainability and valuation, including education, standards and practices, with the aim of improving understanding of their relationship.
