Americans with Disabilities Act (1990) is a wide-ranging legislation intended to make American Society more accessible to people with disabilities. is a legislative act/law established to offer a clear and comprehensive prohibition of discrimination on the basis of disability. This act prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in "places of public accommodation" (businesses and non-profit agencies that serve the public) and "commercial facilities" (other businesses).
