indoor air contaminant
Chemical, physical, or biological contaminants in the indoor air. Indoor air contaminants can originate within the building or be drawn in from outdoors. Air contaminants may consist of particles, dust, fibers, bioaerosols, and gases or vapors. Examples include tobacco smoke; VOCs; combustion gases; emissions from material and furnishings, appliances, and office equipment and supplies; and biological organisms.
