Energy audits
The technical term for an energy efficiency review of a building or factory. Generally audits follow the Australian Standard AS 3598:2000, which provides for three levels of review: level 1 is a brief walkthrough audit; level 2 is the most commonly used audit, providing cost and savings analysis sufficient for most investment decisions; level 3 is highly detailed and is rarely used. For a commercial building, specify a Level 2. www.saiglobal.com for the standard; www.eec.org.au
